This contract opportunity is ideal for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse who enjoys working closely with young children and is comfortable with 1:1 care. You’ll play a key role in fostering a safe, supportive environment for a student requiring specialized attention throughout the school day—including while riding the bus.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Confident managing seizures and creating care plans
• Able to provide 1:1 support for elementary-aged children
• Comfortable accompanying students on bus rides and responding to health emergencies en route
• Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to document care accurately and maintain confidentiality

What You'll Do:

• Deliver direct, individualized nursing care to an elementary student
• Monitor and respond to seizure activity promptly and appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments as needed
• Ride the school bus with the student to and from school, ensuring safety and medical readiness
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and parents to provide holistic support
• Educate and empower staff regarding emergency health protocols related to the student’s needs
• Keep thorough, up-to-date records of all care provided
