Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Technologist position located in Southwest Oklahoma. This role involves working in a comprehensive Cath Lab environment alongside cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and a general surgeon. The technologist will perform a variety of cardiac and peripheral procedures, including angiography, stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, pacemaker insertion, and other interventional tasks. The position requires proficiency with specialized devices and operating X-ray equipment, with a schedule of 8-hour days and rotating call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, rotating call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, with certifications including BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA). Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience is required. Recent traveler experience is preferred. Candidate must have current skills with relevant devices, including Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and atherectomy devices; proficiency in operating X-ray equipment; and the ability to assist with pre- and post-procedural activities, inventory management, and billing.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Traveler experience, ACLS certification (AHA)
  • Additional Information: The candidate will rotate between scrubbing and circulating procedures, operate imaging equipment, and support various operational tasks related to the Cath Lab environment.
