About the Position\n

Our client is seeking dependable CDL Class B Delivery Drivers for a local, home-daily opportunity in Kansas City. Drivers will deliver refrigerated and dry grocery products to a variety of commercial and institutional locations while operating automatic straight trucks.

Pay & Schedule\n

\n
• $25.83 per hour
\n
• Monday through Friday schedule
\n
• Start time: 5:00 a.m.
\n
• Approximately 8.5 to 9 hours per shift
\n
• 40 hours per week
\n
• Local routes with home-daily return
\n
• Temp-to-perm employment opportunity
\n

Job Details\n

\n
• Route type: Local
\n
• Freight: Produce, dairy, cheese, and dry grocery products
\n
• Equipment: Automatic 18-foot and 26-foot refrigerated straight trucks
\n
• Handling: Heavy touch; unload freight using two-wheelers and pallet jacks
\n
• Place products in coolers or drop full pallets, depending on the customer
\n
• Deliver to government facilities, military bases, retail locations, schools, hospitals, hotels, and restaurants
\n
• Up to 12 stops per day
\n

Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Safely operate automatic refrigerated straight trucks on local delivery routes.
\n
• Deliver produce, dairy, cheese, and other dry grocery products.
\n
• Unload freight at delivery locations using two-wheelers and pallet jacks.
\n
• Place products in designated coolers or deliver full pallets as required.
\n
• Complete delivery paperwork and provide professional customer service at each stop.
\n
• Follow all applicable safety, transportation, and delivery procedures.
\n

Minimum Requirements\n

\n
• Valid CDL Class B license
\n
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
\n
• High school diploma or GED
\n
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
\n
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
\n
• Must be at least 21 years old
\n
