Maid for Jersey is a locally owned residential cleaning company based in Milford, New Jersey. We proudly serve all of Hunterdon County, as well as select areas of Bucks County, PA and Somerset County, NJ.

We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy being active throughout the day. This is a great fit for someone who would rather be moving, working with their hands, and seeing the results of their work than sitting behind a desk.

Our technicians work primarily Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends, giving you a consistent schedule and a better work-life balance.

Responsibilities

As a Residential Cleaning Technician, you will:

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, kitchens, and other assigned areas.
• Follow Maid for Jersey's cleaning procedures and quality standards.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
• Pay close attention to detail and ensure homes are left clean and presentable.
• Provide professional and courteous service to clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Arrive at each home on time, prepared, and ready to work.
• Maintain and properly care for company-provided cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Work efficiently while maintaining our expected level of quality.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically active position. Technicians should be comfortable with:

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Lifting up to 20 pounds
• Performing repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the workday
• Working efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable personal transportation
• Ability to travel to homes throughout our service area
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Access to a working washer and dryer
• Ability to pass our training and quality standards

Our Service Area

Maid for Jersey is located in Milford, NJ, but our technicians travel throughout our service area.

We service:

• All of Hunterdon County, NJ
• Parts of Bucks County, PA
• Parts of Somerset County, NJ

Because our technicians travel between client homes, reliable transportation and the ability to commute throughout our service area are required.

Attendance & Reliability

Our clients depend on us to arrive when we say we will, which makes reliability one of the most important parts of this position.

We understand that emergencies and unexpected situations happen. However, frequent call-outs, excessive tardiness, or unreliable attendance are not compatible with this position.

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 18 years or older
