Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting production and inspection teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude.
Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Knoxville, TN
Pay Range: $20-$22, DOE
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm
What's the Job?
- Work directly on the production floor to ensure quality in processes and product outcomes
- Accurately and efficiently build and assemble standard hydraulic power units
- Perform incoming inspections on components and First Article Inspections on new cylinders from overseas suppliers
- Understand and follow quality assurance systems, processes, and procedures
- Inspect the quality of manufactured products to meet customer needs
What's Needed?
- High School diploma/GED
- At least one-year work-related experience
- Experience with inspections of parts and components compared to blueprints
- Use of common measuring tools and gauges, and calibration of those tools
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documents
- Steel toe shoes
