Prep Cook

A prep cook is a person who gets the kitchen ready for service by preparing ingredients and making sure everything the cooks need is stocked, organized, and ready to go.

Prep cook Resposibilities:

Prepare ingredients, make basic food items, portion and label food, stock the kitchen, maintain cleanliness, follow food-safety procedures, follow recipes and prep lists, support the line cooks.

A prep cook makes sure the kitchen has everything prepared and ready before and during service, allowing the cooks and servers to keep things running smoothly.

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

• 18 years or older
