Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) for a temporary assignment. The position involves providing timely diagnostic imaging services, including routine diagnostic CT scans of various anatomical regions, in a fast-paced clinical environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to patient care and expand clinical skills in a dynamic setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Mids, 4x10-hour shifts, Tuesdays to Fridays, 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, with call responsibilities once per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (CT) certification, graduate of an accredited American Medical Association (AMA) school, state license as a general radiographer, at least one year of related experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CT imaging procedures of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures; familiarity with Cerner Electronic Medical Record system.
- Additional Information: The role involves performing fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. Knowledge of CT system processing, sterile techniques, and contrast media studies is essential. No floating to other units is required. The role requires working with a patient load of approximately three scans per hour and managing a patient bed count of two.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be willing to review clinicians with pending state licenses and demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT procedures.
