General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS, Iowa permit to practice, Mandatory Reporter Certification, Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements ARRT, CT registration How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 1 CT, 1 General x-ray room. Will they have to float/cover any other areas? Yes, CT, General x-ray, Surgery C-arm, Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties General Full body CT/CTA imaging Studies, General X-ray, C-arm Experience or 'Must have' skills CT experience. Average # of scans/studies per day 12 day EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use Mckesson PACS, EPIC Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) Siemens, Dimensions AS CT, Shimadzu Canon Portable and general x-ray room. GE OEC C-arm. Is there a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on each shift? Onsite only during day shift. Reachable after hours. Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No Radiologist in-house? No Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) Yes Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) Shift needed cover Monday –Friday 930-6pm Weekend Requirements No Holiday Requirements No Call or Standby requirement? Response time? Minimal call, 2 nights per month but not a deal breaker.
