The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans
Minimum Experience and Certification Required:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT – R)
- California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
- 2 years minimum X-Ray and CT Experience
- Nevada Radiologic Technologist (not limited license)
