Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in a healthcare facility in the area. This role involves performing diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scans for inpatient and outpatient populations. The technologist will be responsible for executing routine and specialized imaging procedures according to departmental protocols, under the supervision of radiologists. The position requires proficiency in a variety of CT imaging, including head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities, with the ability to handle contrast media and cross-sectional anatomy.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, Wednesday through Friday, 4:30 p.m. to 6 a.m., with a total of 10 hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: ARRT (CT) certification, licensed as a general radiographer by the state, with at least 1 year of experience in performing diagnostic CT procedures.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (CT) certification, graduate of an accredited AMA school, registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), state licensure, and 1+ year of experience in CT imaging.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures, knowledge of CT system processing, sterile procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy.
- Additional Information: The role involves handling imaging studies with or without contrast media, knowledge of surgical and sterile procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy. No floating required. Bed count in the unit is 2, and the patient ratio is 3 scans per hour per technologist. The facility uses Cerner electronic medical records and has no specific scrub color requirements.
- Position is for a 13-week assignment starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027, with a maximum of one week of restricted time off.
