2nd Shift – Water Bearing / Assembly

Job Title: 2nd Shift – Water Bearing / Assembly
Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Hours: 2:15 PM – M-F
Pay/Job Class: $20.00 (Temp/Temp-to-Hire)

Daily Duties

• Assemble plumbing systems and fixtures, including spouts, valves, showerheads, etc.

• Inspect finished components during assembly to ensure they conform to quality standards.

• Follow instructions and locate parts on Pick Tickets.

• Notify the team leader of quality variances and parts shortages.

• Operate hand tools and push carts.

• Efficiently pick parts orders for final assembly, ensuring the correct number and type of part is obtained.

• Carry or transport orders to different staging areas utilizing material handling equipment.

• Read and count accurately, perform simple math, and write legibly.

• Scan tickets into the ERP computer system and occasionally retrieve order information.

• Perform corrective maintenance on water systems, such as valves and blow-offs.

Requirements

• Adaptability/flexibility when encountering problems.

• Must be able to communicate discrepancies to the team leader and be able to solve problems and implement solutions.

• Ability to follow instructions and comply with all safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment.

• Attention to detail, accuracy, dependability, and persistence.
