Reach Truck Operator (2nd Shift)

Location: Elizabeth, NJ
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour

Job Summary

A well-established warehouse operation in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Reach Truck Operator to support daily distribution activities. This role will primarily operate Raymond reach trucks to move, store, and organize inventory within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Raymond reach trucks to pick, put away, and relocate inventory

• Safely load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse

• Pick orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners or pick tickets

• Perform inventory movements, replenishment, and stock rotation

• Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance or safety concerns

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Follow all company safety guidelines and OSHA standards

• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a reach truck (Raymond preferred)

• Ability to work 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) consistently

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment

• Comfortable working at heights and in narrow aisles

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work as needed

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Reliable with good attendance

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Preferred Experience

• Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems

• Forklift certification (or willingness to be certified)

• High-volume picking/putaway experience

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting with moderate to heavy activity

• Standing, driving equipment, lifting, and moving throughout the shift

• Fast-paced, team-oriented operation
