Talent Corps is looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our growing team in Sterling, VA. If you have a strong work ethic, proven carpentry skills, and enjoy working on diverse projects, we want to hear from you!

Location: Sterling, VA
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: $28–$30/hr (based on experience)
Experience Required: Minimum 4 years

What You’ll Do:

• Build and repair decks, stairs, and structural fixtures using wood, plywood, and wallboard
• Build and install cabinets
• Build signage and tables
• Read and interpret blueprints and building plans
• Measure, cut, and shape materials with hand and power tools
• Construct walls, floors, door frames, and other framework
• Inspect, repair, or replace damaged woodwork or fixtures
• Operate tools and equipment safely (e.g., saws, drills, nail guns, welding tools)
• Install job site signage and drive fence posts
• Provide general labor and site support as needed
• Collaborate with team members and follow all safety procedures
• Track hours worked and materials used accurately

What We’re Looking For:

• Journeyman-level carpentry skills preferred with at least 4 years of experience
• Comfortable with a variety of tasks on-site
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Knowledge of safety standards and ability to maintain a clean work site
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
