Job Description & Requirements

Cath Lab / Special Procedures Tech – Days
- Shift: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 40 guaranteed hours/week
- Call: 1–2 times/week + every 4th weekend
- Late team: 1–2 times/week — stays until late procedures are completed.
- Experience: 2–5 years preferred; sterile technique experience required.
- 🚨 Required experience: Vascular, coronary & device implants
- EP procedure experience: Preferred
- Procedures include heart caths, peripheral vascular, pacemakers and ablations, plus monitoring vitals/charting.
- Certs: AHA BLS + ACLS
- RCIS/RCES: Preferred in the unit notes. Rad Techs with ARRT/CRT who have cross-trained to scrub may also be accepted. (The separate “Required Certifications” field lists RCIS, so I would verify whether RCIS is truly required before ruling out an experienced Rad Tech.)
- Systems/Equipment: Epic, MacLab, ACIST injector, CSI, Laser, Shockwave, balloon pumps, temporary pacemakers, Impella and Carto.
- 3 Cath Labs
- No floating
- Facility-provided scrubs.
