OTR Class A CDL Driver

Trilogy Trucking is looking for reliable OTR Class A CDL Drivers to join our team. This position is responsible for safely transporting general freight over long-haul routes while maintaining DOT, company, and safety requirements.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer on OTR and long-haul routes
• Transport general freight and ensure loads are delivered safely and on schedule
• Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Secure and inspect cargo to ensure loads are transported safely
• Maintain accurate driver logs and Hours of Service (HOS) requirements
• Use an Electronic Logging Device (ELD) to manage driving time, logs, and routes
• Plan routes and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules
• Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, delays, breakdowns, or other issues
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and professional driving record
• Keep the assigned truck and equipment clean and properly maintained
• Report maintenance issues and equipment concerns promptly
• Provide professional, courteous communication with customers and shipping/receiving locations when needed

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A CDL
• Previous OTR or commercial trucking experience preferred
• Safe driving record and strong commitment to safety
• Ability to pass required DOT physical and drug screening
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service, and ELDs
• Ability to safely perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable, dependable, and professional
• Ability to navigate long-haul routes using GPS and other navigation tools
• Strong communication skills with dispatch and company personnel

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and drive for extended periods of time
• Ability to enter and exit the truck multiple times throughout the day
• Ability to inspect, secure, and handle freight as required
• Ability to safely perform duties in varying weather and road conditions
