About Creekside

Creekside is an established outpatient physical therapy practice in Edina treating a diverse orthopedic population with particular expertise in complex musculoskeletal conditions, headaches and migraines, neck pain, TMJ dysfunction, manual and myofascial therapy, breathwork, pelvic health, and whole-person rehabilitation.

Manual therapy and individualized clinical reasoning are important parts of how we practice.

We are interested both in experienced manual therapists and in motivated clinicians who want to significantly advance their manual therapy and orthopedic skills.

Our goal is to provide excellent therapists with the mentorship, support, time, and autonomy necessary to continue developing throughout their careers.

What the Position Looks Like

This position is based at our Edina clinic.

We are ideally looking for a clinician interested in a 40-hour workweek, although we will consider an exceptional candidate seeking 32 or more hours per week.

The position is Monday through Friday with no weekend patient-care requirements.

All patient visits at Creekside are one-on-one. Our therapists work directly with one patient at a time, allowing for individualized care, thoughtful clinical reasoning, hands-on treatment, and meaningful patient relationships. You will evaluate and treat an outpatient orthopedic caseload while having the freedom to use your clinical judgment and develop your own areas of expertise. We intentionally maintain a relationship-based model of care rather than a high-volume treatment environment.

You will also receive one hour of dedicated clinical mentorship each week with a senior Physical Therapist. These sessions are used for hands-on technique development, discussion of challenging patient cases, clinical reasoning, treatment planning, and refinement of manual therapy skills.

Depending on your interests, there may also be opportunities to develop a specialty caseload in areas such as:

• Spine and orthopedic rehabilitation
• Headache and migraine treatment
• TMJ dysfunction
• Manual therapy
• Women’s health and pelvic health
• Persistent pain
• Sports and active-adult rehabilitation
• Breathwork and movement-based rehabilitation
• Other specialty areas you are passionate about developing

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a Physical Therapist who:

• Has a strong background in manual therapy and/or a genuine interest in developing advanced manual therapy skills
• Has a strong desire to continue learning and developing as a clinician
• Holds or is eligible for Minnesota PT licensure
• Has strong orthopedic clinical reasoning skills or is motivated to further develop those skills
• Values individualized, patient-centered care
• Communicates exceptionally well with patients
• Is dependable, self-directed, and collaborative
• Values mentorship, collaboration, and continued professional development
• Wants autonomy while still being part of a supportive clinical team
• Is interested in becoming an important part of a growing independent practice

Outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred, but the right clinician, clinical potential, and cultural fit are more important to us than a specific number of years in practice. Advanced training or certification in manual therapy, orthopedics, TMJ, headaches, pelvic health, or another specialty is welcome but not required.

We are equally interested in hearing from an established clinician with advanced skills and a developing clinician who has excellent fundamentals, curiosity, and a strong desire to become an exceptional orthopedic and manual therapist.

Mentorship & Continuing Education

We believe excellent clinicians should continue learning throughout their careers.

Each Creekside Physical Therapist receives one hour of dedicated clinical mentorship per week with a senior PT.

Mentorship sessions may include:

• Hands-on practice and refinement of manual therapy techniques
• Review of challenging patient cases
• Clinical reasoning and differential diagnosis
• Treatment progression and plan-of-care questions
• Integration of new techniques and treatment approaches
• Development of specialty skills and clinical interests

Creekside also invests directly in continuing education.

Creekside pays for continuing education courses that we specifically encourage clinicians to attend. Additional continuing education opportunities may also be supported based on the therapist’s clinical interests and the needs of the practice. Importantly, professional development does not stop when a course ends. New techniques and concepts are brought back into our weekly mentorship sessions, where they can be practiced, reviewed, and refined with a senior clinician.

Our goal is to create a deliberate process of education, hands-on practice, feedback, and refinement so clinicians can more rapidly develop lasting clinical skills and confidently incorporate them into patient care.

We also want each therapist to develop areas of clinical expertise that genuinely interest them.

Compensation & Benefits

Full-time base compensation is expected to range from $88,000–$110,000 annually, depending on experience, clinical skills, and qualifications, with additional performance-based compensation available.

Compensation for schedules between 32 and 39 hours per week would be prorated accordingly.
