About the Role:
Compassionate Home Care by Jen LLC is looking for a dedicated CNA or PSS to join our caring team in Biddeford, ME! This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients by providing compassionate, personalized care right in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a safe, clean environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
- Document care activities and maintain accurate client records
Requirements:
- Current CNA certification or PSS (Personal Support Specialist) training in the state of Maine
- Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or a similar healthcare setting preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to client care
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Biddeford, ME area
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must pass a background check
