Radiologic Technologist
Job Details:
• Evening shift schedule Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
• Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians
• Position and instruct patients prior to examinations
• Adjust x-ray equipment and determine proper voltage, current, and desired exposure time for each radiograph
• Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation
• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
• Prepare equipment and examination rooms for patient exams
• Monitor patients and ensure safety during exams
• Produce diagnostic images and document exam information
• Report important information to the physician and verify exams on PACS
• Minimum two years of recent experience in the field required
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) certification required
• Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
