Join our Patient Care Team as a Physical Therapist in an Outpatient Clinic setting, and experience the beauty of Salida, CO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will perform duties within your professional scope, including:

• Examining Patients: Conduct thorough assessments to understand patients' impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities, and develop appropriate diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention strategies.
• Designing Therapeutic Interventions: Create and modify therapeutic plans aimed at alleviating impairments and facilitating patients' ability to perform daily activities.
• Preventing Health Issues: Focus on promoting overall health, fitness, and wellness across all age groups to prevent injuries and disabilities.
• Consultation, Education, and Research: Share knowledge with colleagues and the community, and contribute to advancements in physical therapy practices through research.
• Maintaining Patient Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records, including physician orders, diagnosis, treatment plans, progress reports, attendance, and discharge summaries.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Pelvic Health required.
• Graduation from an AMA-APTA approved school of physical therapy.
• Completion of training as prescribed by the Council on Medical Education and the Hospitals of the American Medical Association.
• Active license for the state of Colorado is required.
• Member or eligible for membership in the American Physical Therapy Association or the American Registry of Physical Therapy.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

• Pelvic Health Certification is required.
• Current, active Physical Therapist licensure for Colorado or a permit while awaiting licensure examination.
• Current CPR Certification.

Shift Information

Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Holiday coverage may be required.

Minimum Years of Experience

4 years of relevant experience is required.
