TheP&C CommissioningTechnicianwillperformacceptancetesting andpre-commissioningofprotection and control(P&C)equipmentin the factoryusingproceduresset-forthby Systems Control and its utility partners.

Apply protective relay settings and perform testing thatvalidatesproper function
Apply RTU settings and verify status, metering, and control functions
Execute testing procedures thatensure elements ofP&Cdesign are properly applied andfunctioningas intended
Troubleshootandproblem-solvewhendeficienciesareidentified
Performtesting procedures anddocumenttheresultscompletely,in accordance withinternal and customer-specific requirements
Keepup-to-datewith utility industry trends and practices by attending relevant training opportunities
Notifydesigners and engineersofdeficienciesidentifiedduring testing
Identifypotentialprocess improvementsandcollaborate withother team members
Provide technical support toengineering,manufacturingand test departments
Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (required)
Minimum of 5 years of experiencein electrical/electronic testing and techniques of design (required)
Strong attention to detail, problem solving, time management, and strong organizational and multi-tasking skills (required)
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Strong decision-making and leadership skills
Knowledge of the principles of theory and general electronic component functions preferred
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work from procedures and drawings with minimal guidance
Experience executing tests and documenting test results
