Director of Nursing (DON) – Rochester, NY

Salary: $120,000–$130,000/year
Schedule: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing operations and ensure exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, and clinical standards. Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations and standards of resident care
• Lead, supervise, train, and support nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Oversee care planning, clinical documentation, and resident assessments
• Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and staff development
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and promote positive resident outcomes

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license required
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong clinical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills
