A well-established, multi-service Northern California law firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its growing team. Responsibilities
- Handle substantive legal matters with increasing independence.
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, discovery, and other legal documents.
- Manage case strategy and support litigation, transactional, or advisory matters.
- Participate in depositions, mediations, negotiations, hearings, and trials as applicable.
- Communicate directly with clients and provide practical legal advice.
- Collaborate with partners, associates, experts, and support staff to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Contribute to business development and client relationship efforts.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- 3+ years of relevant legal experience in a law firm environment.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral advocacy and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to client service and teamwork.
Preferred Experience
- Litigation, business law, employment law, real estate, family law, or related practice area experience.
- Experience handling client matters with a high degree of autonomy.
- Deposition, motion practice, negotiation, and courtroom experience preferred.
