Job Description
Adecco is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Data Analyst to support supply chain operations through advanced data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This temporary opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong Python and Power BI experience who enjoy transforming complex datasets into actionable business insights.
In this role, you will work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Purchasing, and Finance teams to analyze performance, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
Key ResponsibilitiesData Analytics & Business IntelligenceAnalyze large datasets using Python to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for operational and executive stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into meaningful analytics and visualizations.
Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Evaluate inventory levels, demand patterns, supply constraints, and logistics performance.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including:
Inventory turns
Service levels
Lead times
Forecast accuracy
Operational efficiency metrics
Provide recommendations that drive cost savings, service improvements, and productivity gains.
Support daily supply chain operations by analyzing shortages, excess inventory, delivery risks, and capacity constraints.
Assist stakeholders in prioritizing actions based on data-driven insights.
Track execution against operational plans and identify performance variances.
Extract, cleanse, validate, and maintain data from ERP systems and other business platforms.
Ensure reporting accuracy and consistency across business functions.
Improve reporting logic, data quality, and analytical workflows.
Partner with Supply Chain, Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, and Commercial teams.
Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts.
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Operations, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
2 to 4 years of experience in business analytics, supply chain analysis, operations analysis, or a related role.
Experience working with large datasets and business intelligence tools.
Advanced Python experience required (data analysis, automation, reporting, data manipulation).
Advanced Power BI experience required (dashboard development, DAX, visualizations, reporting).
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced formulas and data analysis functions.
Experience with ERP systems preferred (SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to explain complex data in a clear and actionable manner.

Pay Details: $27.00 to $31.00 per hour
