Senior Tax Accountant (Hybrid)

Location: San Antonio, TX 78249
Pay: $40.94/hr on W2
Duration: 12+ Months (Temp to Hire)
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 9 AM–5 PM
Hybrid: Monday & Friday Remote; Tuesday–Thursday Onsite

We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join the Indirect Tax team. The role will support sales & use tax and property tax returns, tax research, taxability guidance, tax exemptions, tax audits, compliance, GL reconciliations, and process improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance preferred
• 2–5 years of accounting/finance experience
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and Charts
• ERP experience
• GAAP and SOX knowledge
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and quickly take ownership of assignments
