Call Center Representative: / Appointment Scheduler

Prestige Staffing is seeking a customer-focused, detail-oriented Call Center Representative to join our team to answer incoming calls. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional service to our patients.Details:

• Mon - Fri 8a - 5p
• Onsite
• Pay - $23/hr.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience is not required, but is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
• Experience with EPIC is preferred but not required.
• Professional and friendly telephone presence.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to work.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to patient inquiries professionally and courteously.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments.
• Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
• Communicate effectively through the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Teams.
• Accurately document all patient interactions while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance.
• Follow up on patient requests and inquiries in a timely manner.
• Professionally handle and de-escalate patient concerns or complaints.
• Provide exceptional service while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
