Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic X-Ray

Shift: Days, primarily Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Hours: 8 hours/day
Weekends/Holidays: Rotating basis
On-Call: Possible
Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000

Position Overview

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic X-Ray to perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures for patients ranging from neonates to geriatric populations. The technologist will work in various settings, including the Radiology Department, Emergency Department, Operating Room, and bedside.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures across all patient populations.
• Operate radiographic equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Properly position patients and obtain appropriate views of the required anatomy.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Select appropriate exposure factors based on the procedure and established guidelines.
• Follow radiation safety practices and assist the Radiologist when required.
• Work with various computer programs and radiology systems.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Radiology Supervisor or Director.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered or registry-eligible Radiologic Technologist.
• Kansas Radiologic Technology license required.
• ARRT certification or eligibility preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required/preferred.
• BLS may be obtained through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or completed within the first 90 days of employment.
