Healthcare Customer Service Associate

Locations: Two openings Total. 1 Opening in - Southfield, MI, 1 Opening in - DeWitt, MI

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Fully On-Site

You'll receive hands-on training from management and be supported every step of the way as you learn the company's systems, processes, and medical equipment offerings.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
  • Handle inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries
  • Process patient orders and coordinate delivery of physician-prescribed medical equipment
  • Verify and review referral information for accuracy
  • Schedule patients for equipment setup and services
  • Route calls to the appropriate departments when needed
  • Follow up with patients and customers to ensure a positive experience
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems
Training & Growth
  • Comprehensive, hands-on training provided
  • Learn healthcare operations and medical equipment processes
  • Opportunity to become a permanent employee after approximately 4 months
  • Receive a $1/hour pay increase upon direct hire
On-Call Program (After Becoming Permanent)

Once hired directly after 4 months, employees participate in a rotating on-call schedule that is planned quarterly and offers additional earning opportunities:

  • 1 weekday evening per month (5 PM - 9 PM)
  • 1 weekend day per month (9 AM - 9 PM)
  • Work remotely during on-call shifts
  • Any time spent assisting customers is paid at overtime rates
  • Even if no calls are received, you still earn a stipend
On-Call Stipends
  • Weeknight: $25
  • Weekend: $60
  • Holiday: $100
Qualifications

Required:

  • 1-3 years of customer service and/or administrative experience
  • Experience within an office, healthcare, medical, insurance, or similar professional environment
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable handling phone calls, emails, and data entry

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
