This Level II trauma center provides comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical services and performs approximately 80 cardiac procedures annually. The facility maintains advanced surgical capabilities for both cardiovascular and thoracic cases, with dedicated support staff including an APP, MA, MOS, and RN. Established clinical infrastructure and protocols are in place to support coordinated care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period.

The area offers a range of activities suited to varied interests, including outdoor recreation and access to nearby natural attractions such as Antelope Island State Park and the Natural History Museum of Utah. Distinct neighborhoods, including Historic 25th Street and the 9 Rails Creative District, provide cultural and artistic experiences, while family-friendly destinations such as the Ogden Dinosaur Park and the Treehouse Museum are also available. Clinicians on assignment will find nearby mountain recreation, guided tours, and a consistent calendar of community events throughout the year.

The cardiothoracic surgeon will provide exclusive 24-hour call coverage at a Level II trauma facility, managing approximately 10-12 patients weekly with 3-5 consultations and 1-3 surgical cases per week. Clinical responsibilities encompass cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures as required throughout each designated coverage period. Support staff on site includes an APP, MA, MOS, and RN to assist with coordinated care delivery.

• Case Load/PPD:  Approx 10-12 PPW. Approx 3-5 consults for 7 days & 1-3 surgeries per week. usually 1 cardiac and 2-3 thoracic cases.
