Long Shot Ammo & Arms is not just a gun shop, there is so much more to explore! Not only does Long Shot Ammo & Arms provide a wide range of products and services for shooters, hunters, collectors, and protectors, it also provides various recreational ranges including axe throwing, outdoor gun range and it's very own Swift Safariland museum/banquet room that displays over a hundred animal trophies from around the world.
Long Shot Ammo & Arms is currently looking for a Store Manager, an individual with strong leadership skills, who can effectively lead our team and develop new innovative ways to promote sales while staying current and informed on latest products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and provide leadership throughout the retail sales department
- Provide training and support to staff to ensure knowledge and excellent customer service
- Supervise daily activities and set departmental direction to ensure expectations are met
- Oversee the safe handling of firearms at all times
- Ensure ATF Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as compliance with all Firearm related paperwork (paper and electronic 4473, ATF 3310.4)
- Assure all firearm safety guidelines and regulations are trained and followed at all times
- Develop and execute marketing strategies as well as implementing sales and promotions throughout the store
Job Requirements:
- Retail sales or service experience required
- Management experience required
- Marketing experience required
- Proficient on operation of cash register, personal computer and various software packages, including POS and inventory management systems
- Must be a Customer Service oriented team player
- Must have strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize, delegate and create an efficient retail environment with minimal supervision as well as troubleshoot and resolve common problems
- Able to study and develop a knowledge base of company products, policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate with employees and various business contacts in a courteous professional and positive manner
- Knowledge of ATF Compliance regulations helpful
- Knowledge of firearms or experience with firearms preferred
Salary will be determined upon experience

- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 18 years or older
