Volt is immediately hiring a District Manager at Tampa, Florida.
As a District Manager, you will:
Need to have an Active Real Estate License.
Oversee the operations, performance, and profitability of a portfolio of residential properties within an assigned market. This role is responsible for driving occupancy, revenue growth, operational excellence, and team development while ensuring alignment with company objectives. The District Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide leadership to local property teams, and support the overall strategic vision of the district.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute district-wide operational strategies to maximize occupancy, rental revenue, and portfolio performance.
- Oversee daily property operations, including leasing, rent collection, resident services, maintenance, budget management, and compliance.
- Manage, mentor, and develop property management teams, providing coaching and performance feedback.
- Review and analyze financial performance, budgets, and operational metrics, implementing initiatives to improve profitability.
- Assess portfolio assets and recommend property enhancements, acquisitions, or dispositions to optimize returns.
- Resolve escalated resident concerns, legal matters, evictions, and other complex operational issues.
- Drive resident retention initiatives and evaluate program effectiveness to improve customer satisfaction.
- Partner with internal departments such as Operations, Leasing, Maintenance, and Development to achieve business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of leadership experience with full P&L responsibility and direct team management.
- 5+ years of experience in Property Management, Real Estate Operations, or a related industry.
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and operational management skills.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Experience with property management software is preferred.
- Real Estate License (or ability to obtain within specified timeframe) preferred.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned district.

- Process improvement and change management experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
This is a Direct Hire full-time opportunity.
Pay Rate: $K100- $125K Annually
