Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well. - Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Required Skills/Experience: - Level 1 trauma experience. Will consider high bed level 2 experience.

Unit Details: - General medical/surgical patients; takes patients who are ready to be discharged from the ER but have not yet been assigned to a specific unit. Performs initial admissions and care until transfer to a new unit. - Uses Zebra phones, Omnicell, and Aleris IV pumps. - Patient ratios: 5:1 days, 6:1 nights. - New medical/surgical unit.

Shift & Scheduling: - 0700-1930 or 1900-0730. Every other weekend and every other holiday. No call.

Floating Requirements: - Will float to other medical/surgical units as needed.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
