Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Additional Details:
Resume: Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and whether the facility is a teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Must take a full 6 months off from any Sanford Health, Good Samaritan Society, and Marshfield Clinic Health System location before submission. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere in the submission for a DNU check.
Unit Details: Adult trauma, medical, and surgical patients with a wide range of medical and surgical needs, including trauma/orthopedic trauma. Inpatient RN duties include electronic documentation, assessments, and patient education. Uses AcuDose and other inpatient equipment. Patient ratios: Days 1:4-5; nights 1:5-6.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday. Travelers can self-schedule; only the days off listed on the contract are guaranteed, and self-scheduled shifts may be adjusted to balance unit needs. If a specific day off cannot be supported because it would unbalance the unit, staff are asked to find someone to trade with.
Floating Requirements: Float to Medical Surgical units across 3 Fargo locations, including Broadway, SMCF, and South University, if needed.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
