Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a critical access hospital, requiring both CT and X-Ray experience along with ARRT (CT) certification.
Details
- Critical access hospital setting within the Radiology department
- Multi-modality role covering CT and X-Ray, including surgery and portable X-ray duties
- Patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric
- 3x12hr night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
- Every weekend required
- On-call as needed
- Compact license accepted
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years current acute care hospital experience in both CT and X-Ray required
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- Active AHA BLS certification required
- NH State Medical Imaging License required (license required if applicable)
- High proficiency in C-Arm, Fluoroscopy, PACS, and IV placement required
- CT Skills Checklist current within the past year required for consideration
- One supervisory reference from the past year of employment required
- Travel experience of at least 6 months highly preferred
Additional Information
- Sets up radiography equipment, positions patients, and acquires diagnostic radiographs for detection, diagnosis, and evaluation of pathology
- Works across a variety of settings including surgery and portable X-ray
- Personal scrubs of any color permitted, no denim, closed toe shoes required
- Housing in the area can be challenging, so candidates should explore options in advance
- Candidates must reside 50+ miles from the facility
- No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
