About You:
We are seeking a Veterinary Technician who is proficient in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and a strong technical skill set and a commitment to continuous learning.
In this role, you will complete all job-specific responsibilities promptly and efficiently, with a strong focus on urgent care needs. You will manage scheduling and patient flow, maintain accurate and timely medical records and treatment documentation, and collaborate closely with the veterinary team to ensure clear communication and continuity of patient care.
The ability to prioritize tasks based on the urgency of medical needs while consistently following veterinary medical protocols, company policies, and established procedures is essential to providing high-quality patient care.
Compensation:
$22.00-$25.00 an hour depending on experience and education.
Anticipated Schedule:
This is a Part-Time position:
Wednesday 12pm-8pm
Thursday 12pm-8pm
Friday 9am-5pm
Occasional rotating Saturday 8am-1pm is required

Requirements:
- 2+ years of Veterinary Technician experience, preferably in an Urgent Care setting.
- Associates in Veterinary Technology is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Phlebotomy
- Knowledge of the procedures used for scheduling patients, receiving, treating, ordering medical supplies, and requesting laboratory tests.
- Knowledge of the instruments, materials, and standardized procedures used in the full variety of treatments to prepare and provide tableside assistance.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing client and personal services. This includes client needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of client satisfaction.
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
