Training and job qualification
Habasit uses an internal PTR training process to provide structured, hands-on training and document the skills required for each fabrication job function. Employees must complete the applicable PTR requirements and demonstrate that they can safely, consistently, and independently perform the essential duties of their assigned function, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Successful completion of the applicable PTR requirements is required to become qualified and remain assigned to the job function and corresponding pay rate. Pay is tied to the job function in which the employee is assigned and qualified. If an employee does not qualify for the initial function, Habasit may consider placement in another available function based on the employee’s demonstrated skills, qualifications, and business needs. Placement in another function is not guaranteed.
Employees placed in another function must complete the PTR requirements for that assignment. The employee’s base pay will be adjusted prospectively to the established rate for the new function, which may be higher or lower. Any change in assignment and pay will be communicated in writing before it becomes effective.
