Janitor - Now Hiring

Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking a Janitor to join their team. As a Janitor, you will be part of the warehouse support team supporting cleanliness, safety, and organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Janitor

Location: Calera, AL

Pay Range: $14.00 per hour

Shifts available: Monday - Friday (8 AM to 4:30 PM or 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM)

What's the Job?

• Maintain cleanliness throughout designated warehouse areas.
• Travel throughout assigned warehouse sections to collect and remove debris such as wood pieces, shrink wrap, label backings, and other waste materials.
• Move pallets as needed to clean underneath and around storage areas.
• Dust warehouse racks and storage locations.
• Mop and clean spilled products and other floor hazards.

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Willingness to learn warehouse equipment operation, including electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Strong attention to safety, cleanliness, and detail.
• Dependable attendance and positive work ethic.
