Plant Tech

Our client, a leading organization in the energy and resource sector, is seeking a Plant Tech to join their team. As a Plant Tech, you will be part of the operations supporting the plant and processing teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Plant Tech

Location: Gillette, WY

Pay Range: $25

Shift: 28 day rotating mine schedule

What's the Job?

• Safely operate and maintain coal receiving, processing, and storage equipment at the loadout facilities
• Perform plant wash down and routine maintenance tasks to ensure operational efficiency
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols and practices
• Develop professional relationships with team members and other departments to support operational goals

What's Needed?

• Ability to meet physical demands as outlined in the Physical Demands Analysis
• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift
• Good safety record and commitment to safety practices
• Effective communication skills (written, verbal, listening)
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
