JOB OVERVIEW 

The General Laborer will assist with the construction, assembly, finishing, loading, and installation of modular building components. This position is hands-on and requires the ability to work safely, follow instructions, and work effectively as part of a team.

Previous construction experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

DUTIES

• Assist with the construction and assembly of modular buildings and components.
• Load, unload, move, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment.
• Use basic hand and power tools safely and properly.
• Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled trades as directed.
• Perform measuring, cutting, fastening, drilling, and other basic construction tasks.
• Assist with interior and exterior finishing work, including drywall, trim, flooring, siding, and general cleanup.
• Prepare work areas and maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Follow plans, instructions, and direction from supervisors and foremen.
• Assist with preparing modules for transportation and installation.
• Help with setup, installation, and final site work as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and proper tool/equipment procedures.
• Perform other general construction duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Construction or general labor experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools or willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment as required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow directions and work well with others.
• Strong attention to safety and quality.
• Valid driver's license is a plus.
