Position SummaryThe Warehouse Supervisor / Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, coordinating employees, and ensuring efficient and accurate shipping, receiving, inventory, and material-handling activities. This role focuses on productivity, safety, quality, employee performance, and maintaining smooth warehouse workflow.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations and employeesLead and support warehouse team members to meet productivity and operational goalsCoordinate employee assignments, attendance, and daily workflowOversee shipping and receiving activitiesSupervise loading and unloading of products and materialsManage inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory recordsPerform and oversee inventory counts and investigate discrepanciesEnsure quality, accuracy, and proper handling of productsMonitor productivity and workflow to maximize operational efficiencyTrack employee attendance and performance and communicate issues to managementTrain, coach, and mentor warehouse employees on procedures, equipment, and safety practicesEnsure compliance with OSHA and company safety requirementsPromote a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environmentOperate or oversee the use of RF scanners and warehouse management systemsCommunicate effectively with employees, supervisors, customers, and other departmentsAddress operational issues and resolve problems quickly and professionallyManage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environmentSupport continuous improvement of warehouse processes and productivityPerform other duties as assigned by managementJob RequirementsPrevious experience in warehouse operations, supervision, or team leadershipStrong leadership and employee coordination skillsExperience with shipping, receiving, inventory management, and loading/unloadingKnowledge of warehouse safety practices and OSHA complianceExperience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExcellent time-management and organizational skillsAbility to train, coach, and motivate employeesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment
