At Prospect Property Management & Maintenance, we maintain and improve residential properties across the Greater Lehigh Valley area.

We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician who takes pride in quality work, problem solving, and keeping residential properties safe, functional, and well maintained.

This is a field-based role for someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable handling a range of general maintenance and repair needs across residential properties.

What You'll Be Responsible For

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for completing day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and property upkeep across residential properties.

Responsibilities include:

• Responding to and completing maintenance work orders

• Performing general residential property repairs and maintenance

• Troubleshooting and making minor repairs related to:
— Plumbing
— Electrical
— HVAC
— Drywall
— Painting
— Carpentry
— Doors and windows
— General property upkeep

• Completing apartment turnovers and helping ensure units are rent-ready

• Performing routine property inspections and identifying maintenance needs

• Diagnosing problems and determining the appropriate repair or solution

• Maintaining tools, equipment, and materials needed to complete work

• Documenting completed work and updating work orders in AppFolio or a similar maintenance system

• Communicating professionally with residents, vendors, and the internal team

• Traveling locally between properties throughout the Allentown area

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

You’re likely a fit if you have:

✔ Strong hands-on maintenance experience (property, facilities, residential, commercial, or multifamily)

✔ Experience across multiple trades: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, general repairs

✔ Experience leading or coordinating technicians, vendors, or small crews

✔ Ability to prioritize work independently and stay organized

✔ Comfortable balancing leadership responsibilities with rolling up your sleeves when needed

✔ Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and personal tools

AppFolio / CMMS experience is a plus but not required.

Requirements

✔ Hands-on maintenance experience in residential, property, facilities, commercial, or multifamily environments

✔ Experience with multiple areas of general maintenance, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repairs

✔ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

✔ The ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance requests

✔ Good organization and attention to detail

✔ Professional communication skills when working with residents, vendors, and the team

✔ A willingness to jump in and handle whatever maintenance needs arise

✔ AppFolio, CMMS, or other property management software experience is a plus but not required.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
• Ability to travel locally between properties in the Allentown area
• Personal tools required to perform maintenance tasks
• Ability to work independently and prioritize daily work
• Ability to perform physical maintenance work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and working in various property environments
• Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends if urgent maintenance issues arise

Benefits

Compensation & Schedule

$03–35/hr (W2)

Performance Bonus: Up to 10% annually

Schedule:
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
