Job Title: Pharmacology Associate I Location: Cambridge, MA Type: Contract Compensation: $30 - $32.50/hr Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: 40.0 Overview The main function of a Pharmacology Associate is to support drug development and research by conducting in vivo studies, laboratory experiments, analyzing pharmacological data, and assisting in the evaluation of drug efficacy. A typical In Vivo Pharmacology Associate works closely with scientists and cross-functional teams to advance therapeutic programs. Responsibilities

• Execute in vivo pharmacology studies in support of metabolic disease research programs.
• Perform rodent handling and support animal-based research activities in a vivarium environment.
• Assist with study execution, data collection, and experimental procedures.
• Conduct tissue collection and downstream tissue processing activities.
• Analyze and organize experimental data using standard scientific software tools.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to support research objectives.
• Maintain accurate experimental records and documentation.
• Follow established laboratory, animal care, and safety procedures.
• Participate in team discussions and contribute to project advancement.

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in pharmacology, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Animal Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• Hands-on experience conducting in vivo studies.
• Experience handling rodents and performing animal research procedures.
• Strong technical laboratory skills and willingness to learn new techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
