2nd Shift Machine Operator

Hydromat Machine Operator

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM

Pay: $22.00–$24.00/hour + 10% shift differential

Staffworks is seeking a dependable Hydromat Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position will be cross trained on various screw machines and responsible for producing quality machined parts to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

•Set up and operate Hydromat, screw machines, lathes, mills, and related equipment.

•Prepare machines for production and make minor tooling/machine adjustments.

•Monitor materials and maintain machine and work area cleanliness.

•Inspect parts using established quality procedures.

•Read blueprints and use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.

•Complete production documentation and maintain machine operations.

•Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.

•Work effectively with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Qualifications

•High School Diploma or GED.

•1–3 years of screw machine or machining experience preferred.

•Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.

•Basic math and computer skills; ability to learn SAP.

•Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools.

•Ability to use micrometers and calipers.

•Strong attention to quality and safety.

•Dependable, team-oriented, and able to follow directions.
