Service Technician / Installer – Doors & Trim

Pay: $18.00/hour (starting pay for first 90-days)

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

GL Staffing is seeking a dependable Service Technician / Installer to join a growing doors and trim operation. This is a hands-on field position responsible for traveling to customer job sites and installing doors, trim, and related hardware.

This is a great opportunity for someone with carpentry, construction, installation, or handyman experience who is comfortable using tools and wants to continue developing their skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Install doors, trim, molding, and related hardware at customer job sites
• Measure, cut, and fit materials according to job specifications
• Install and adjust door hardware and components
• Ensure doors and trim are properly aligned, functional, and finished
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments when needed
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
• Communicate professionally with customers and other team members while on-site
• Travel to different customer/job sites as assigned

Requirements

• Previous door installation, trim carpentry, finish carpentry, construction, or similar experience preferred
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Basic knowledge of measurements and construction techniques
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure
• Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail
• Able to lift and carry construction materials as needed
• Comfortable working in different job-site environments
• Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Professional attitude and appearance when working at customer locations

Schedule & Pay

Starting Pay: $18.00/hour

Monday–Friday, Full-Time. Daily hours may vary depending on job assignments and customer locations.
