What You'll Do

You'll perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on Commercial HVAC units and light industrial equipment at big-box retail locations within about a 3-hour radius of home — no cross-country travel required. Day to day, you'll:

• Troubleshoot electronic and electrical components to find the source of a problem
• Perform repair and preventative maintenance on Commercial HVAC and refrigeration units
• Diagnose issues by observing equipment in operation and listening for what's wrong
• Dismantle and repair equipment using hand and power tools, then reassemble it right
• Identify and order the correct parts quickly to minimize downtime
• Keep parts and supply inventory stocked, anticipating what you'll need based on trends
• Report in daily and stay in regular contact with store managers, your regional DOC supervisor, and office admin
• Follow OSHA and DOC safety regulations on every job
• Maintain your company vehicle
