Pay: $22- $27per hour | Direct Hire Opportunity
Schedule: Friday-Sun | 6:00 AM 6:30 PM
Overtime: As needed based on business needs

Openwork is seeking an experienced Electrical Technicianto join a hands-on manufacturing operation in Oklahoma City, OK.This is a great opportunity for someone with strongElectrical Technician.
What You'll Be DoingControl Panel Building & Wiring: Build, lay out, point-to-point wire, and assemble electrical control panels, junction boxes, and terminal strips from technical drawings.
Industrial Automation Setup: Wire, integrate, and configure industrial automation components, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), relays, transformers, and sensors.
Schematic Reading: Interpret complex electrical schematics, ladder logic, wire lists, and single-line diagrams to route wiring accurately throughout custom equipment builds.
Testing & Troubleshooting: Use diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes) to perform point-to-point continuity checks, diagnose electrical faults, resolve ground issues, and verify system functionality prior to equipment testing.
Machine Interconnection: Run conduit, flex lines, and heavy-gauge cable to connect motors, power supplies, and control panels directly to industrial machinery frames.
Safety & Code Compliance: Adhere to NFPA 70E standards, National Electrical Code (NEC), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety protocols, and company quality guidelines.
What We're Looking For
- Must have 3 years experience in the electrical field
- Must have experience with PLC's, VFD's and wiring control panels
- Must be able to read schematics and troubleshoot
- Someone with electrical experience mostly in commercial/residential may not be a good fit for this opportunity
- Non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility
- Industrial noise levels requiring participation in a hearing conservation program
- Ability to lift 2550 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and remain active throughout the scheduled shift
- Must be flexible to work overtime based on business needs
