Lab experience in bacteriological water testing, including coliform and fecal coliform preferred.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid Michigan driver's license.JOB SUMMARY: Performs responsible and varied clerical and selected laboratory duties including verification of complete sample requisitions for laboratory tests (i.e., coliform and fecal coliforms water testing); work is performed at the Health Department under supervision. Performs related work as required.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:Utilizes various office and laboratory equipment;Provides clients with assistance in completing forms and understanding information;Reviews and maintains environmental health and laboratory records;Prepares environmental health samples and information for laboratory testing and reports findings daily to appropriate environmental health staff;Performs laboratory screening on samples;Works with environmental staff regarding all programs;Performs other duties as assigned.Please see the attached job description for more details.
