Cloud Solutions Architect / Engineer

Location: Remote — with potential onsite engagement as required

Duration: 8–12 Weeks

Clearance: Active Public Trust Required; Secret Clearance may be required

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect / Engineer to support a strategic multi-cloud infrastructure initiative. The role will focus on designing and implementing secure connectivity between AWS and Microsoft Azure environments, while supporting the integration of NVIDIA AI and accelerated computing infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on cloud engineering expertise with architecture, networking, security, and technical project leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities Multi-Cloud Architecture & Engineering

• Design, implement, and support multi-cloud architectures across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Develop secure and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Establish and optimize connectivity between AWS and Azure environments.
• Configure cloud networking, routing, security controls, and connectivity services.
• Troubleshoot cross-cloud infrastructure and networking issues.

NVIDIA AI Infrastructure

• Configure and support NVIDIA AI, GPU, and accelerated computing environments.
• Integrate NVIDIA-based infrastructure with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Support infrastructure requirements for AI/ML workloads.
• Collaborate with AI and infrastructure engineering teams to resolve integration and performance issues.

Security & Governance

• Apply cloud security, governance, and compliance best practices.
• Help establish secure networking and access controls across cloud environments.
• Ensure infrastructure designs align with applicable security and compliance requirements.

Technical Leadership & Project Delivery

• Provide hands-on engineering and technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate activities across cloud, infrastructure, security, and AI engineering teams.
• Manage technical project activities, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Communicate project status, technical issues, and risks to stakeholders.
• Develop implementation plans, architecture documentation, technical procedures, and status reports.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Proven expertise in multi-cloud architecture and cloud-to-cloud connectivity.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, routing, security, and infrastructure integration.
• Experience deploying or supporting NVIDIA GPU, AI, or accelerated computing environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical infrastructure initiatives or cloud projects.
• Knowledge of cloud security, governance, and compliance practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote consulting environment and participate in onsite activities when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Federal Government or Department of Justice environments.
• Active Public Trust clearance.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Experience with government cloud environments and security/compliance frameworks.
• Experience with enterprise-scale hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure deployments.
• Relevant AWS, Azure, networking, or security certifications.
