Job Summary:
Assists with performing sterile diagnostic and interventional care to patients ranging from young adults to the elderly. Demonstrates competency in specialized procedures and equipment, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac, electrophysiology, structural heart, and interventional radiology procedures. Responsibilities include assisting with cardiac catheterization, vascular procedures, structural heart procedures, electrophysiology procedures, and patient care during critical interventions. Ensures accurate documentation of hemodynamic stability and procedural details using EMR systems.
Required Qualifications:
• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Associates degree in Radiology Technology
• ARRT Certification
• KY State Certification
• BLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
• Nuclear Medicine Certification
• ODC Certification
Additional Information:
• EKG training required with annual competency review
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire
• PALS certification required within 24 months of hire
