Surgery Radiologic Technologist Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Surgery Radiologic Technologist to join our team. This position involves operating imaging equipment in the surgical environment to assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiologic procedures utilizing a C-arm in the operating room.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to provide imaging support.
- Maintain safety protocols to ensure a sterile environment.
- Document imaging results and maintain accurate patient records.
- Assist in the training of new staff and support continuing education efforts.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Additional certifications and training as required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an operating room setting.
- Proficient in using imaging equipment and technology.
This position requires availability for day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with periodic on-call duties and potential floating between different areas as needed. Please note there are restrictions on requested time off during certain holidays.
Facility InformationThis position is located in a healthcare facility in the city and state. The facility features a surgical department with various operating rooms, providing a dynamic environment for surgical procedures.
Scrubs and EquipmentScrubs will be provided to staff members, and you will have access to necessary imaging and surgical equipment for your duties.
