Responsibilities
- Manage dysphagia and provide aural rehabilitation.
- Develop and implement functional maintenance programs.
- Conduct patient and family education sessions.
- Perform evaluations using tools such as BIMS, Depression Screening, and Oral Peripheral Exam.
- Ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality care in home health settings.
- Complete billing and documentation accurately and timely.
- Participate in in-service training and contribute to interdisciplinary support teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in speech-language pathology.
- Home health experience required; OASIS training preferred.
- Active Florida or Compact State License.
- Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP.
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for home visits.
- Must be COVID vaccinated or have an exemption form on file.
- Must have flu shot or declination on file; mandatory mask wearing at all times while at work in both cases.
- Proficiency in evaluation and assessment tools, as well as documentation systems such as Epic.
